great educational value!
My cousin first used this with her son and I thought it was such a great idea. She put pictures of family members (those who they didn't see so often)in the album and then looked at the picture book each day with her son. As they looked at the pictures she pointed out this is grammy, this is uncle so and so. Eventually, her son learned names and faces of all his extended family so that when we had our yearly family reunion, he wasn't at all shy and even went right up to some aunts and uncles who he recognized from pictures. Everyone thought he was so smart! <
>I've now started to do the same thing with my son. My in-laws live out of state and never get to see my son. But he will know exactly what they look like because we look at their pictures each night before bed. <
