Beautiful and Personal I bought these for my daughter's first tooth and curl, and find them both beautiful and personal. I haven't had any problems with anything falling out of them. They just sit on the shelf and look pretty.
Not just for babies!
I purchased a few of these recently, but not for my kids - for me!
I tend to sweat a lot, and this causes havoc on my pill supply when I just keep them loose in my pockets. They tend to melt together and I can't tell my greenies from my OC's. How annoying. Now my problem's been solved - I keep them in these lovely pewter boxes.
No closer makes them useless
We received this gift for our daughter. It looked so appealing. We were grateful for such a lovely and personalized gift. But, when we took them out of the box we realized that the lids only sit there on top. There is no snapping or screwing to keep the lids on. We couldn't put our baby's first tooth or curl in there because they would fall right back out. We thought about rubber-banding the lid to keep it shut, but then it's not so appealing - might as well use an envelope.
