Some will love the look of this "functional art" pepper mill by Michigan artist Robert Wilhelm; others will hate it--but no one will say it's boring. The design is inspired by Native American totems and fetishes, and despite the mill's odd shape it's as easy to use as a conventional pepper mill. Fill it from the top by unscrewing the stainless-steel ball, and set the ceramic grinder for a fine or coarse grind.
