Customer Reviews of Pee-wee's Playhouse #2 - Seasons 3-5
How can you NOT like PeeWee?! The PeeWee Herman Show strikes a great balance--entertaining for kids because of its zany antics, over-the-top characters, and bright visuals; entertaining for adults because of the double entendre humor and "oh-my-gosh-is-that?-yes-it-is!" guest stars. PeeWee's persona was the Mr. Rogers for a new era (although not in his personal life, unfortunately), with good life and interpersonal lessons presented in subtle yet attention-getting ways. I watch during my workouts--no matter how many times I've seen an episode, I laugh like crazy!
Great shows for Pee-Wee fans!
If you were at all a fan of this Saturday morning "kids" show you will absolutely enjoy the second installment of episodes. Who can not get a smile on their face as Pee-Wee entertains Miss Yvonne, The King of Cartoons, Globely, Chairy and all the other characters from the show. It is a must have for Pee-Wee fans!
PeeWee....the first season is the best
If you like PeeWee's playhouse, get this set. I was only a little dissapointed though because the much of the cast changes between first and second season....ohh, and no more Giant Foil Ball after season one.....that bothers me. There is no mention that characters were dropped between seasons 1 and 2....they shoulda made some sort of crossover episode (the playhouse gets totally renovated....I guess that's supposed to be the crossover).

>It's funny....unless you're a die-hard fan, I recommend just starting with box-set 1....there's only so much PeeWee I can take, and I love the show....don't know that I'll ever get around to watching box-set 2....at least, not this month.
