Fun Russian Comedy! This film is one of the funniest Russian comedies I have ever seen. The cast is basically the same from Peculiarities of the National Fishing and provide another hilarious hour and a half of comedy. Although this film is not subtitiled as well as "Fishing" the universal humor isn't lost on the viewer. I can't wait until Peculiarities of the National Hunting in Winter is finally released with English subtitles. My only hope is that they do a better job with the translations. Overall, this movie rates a 4.5 and is just a notch below the sidesplitting "Fishing".
Very Funny and Clever
Great Movie, even sub-titled. The smartest cow in the world outwits even the General in this film about a hunting trip gone wrong. The boys are drunk and having fun in the universal way that they do in any culture or country. Great writing and special effects, I only wish it would in English.
This is another film, like La Femme Nikita , that Hollywood should steal. All types of humor from satire and parody to slapstick makes this a must see movie.
Humor must not professedly teach, and it must not professedly preach, but it must do both if it would live forever.
