Customer Reviews of Pecan Glider With Khaki Micro Fiber Fabric
Missing Parts - Damaged Shipment This Glider was a present for my expecting sister. We were disappointed to learn that the package that was delivered was damaged & that the hardware was missing from the package as well and the leg of the glider was chipped. The shipment also arrived with no notification, so it came while they were on vacation. We wondered why we were asked to give their phone number if no one was intending on contacting them about the shipment. We were pretty embarrassed that we put my sister and her husband through so much extra work when it was supposed to be a nice gift. Once everything was fixed, they are happy with the product, but I would not have done this again knowing what we know now.
Wonderful Glider
I have tried various gliders, including the more expensive gliders by Dutalier that go for around $400 or more. I think this glider compares favorably with the more expensive gliders but for a much lower price.

>In terms of the actual gliding motion, compared to Dutalier this may have a little slower motion - but I actually think that's a good thing. The motion is just right on this chair. I tended to get a little "seasick" on the chairs that moved too quickly.

>In terms of the style, well, that's why I picked this chair - it's so good-looking, and in a neutral color that will go in any room, not just a nursery. We have it in our master bedroom, and it looks just fine among adult furniture.

>I guess my only reservation on the chair is that it's not stain-proof. However, I did spray it with ScotchGard (recommended, especially if your baby is a spitter-upper). Also, I have thrown a chenille rug on it.

>One addition: I would NOT buy a matching ottoman. I don't think you need one. When I've used them I actually found them kind of annoying; the motion of the chair is enough, without a moving ottoman to boot. The thing I bought that I love with the chair is a small "nursing footstool" which Medela makes; it's only around $20 as opposed to over $100 for some of the ottomans, and it's small and works fine if you want your feet up.

<
>One other little note: it's hard to fall asleep (if you're an adult) with this chair, because it doesn't have a recline feature. You may or may not find this a good thing.

>Overall, a soft, comfortable, good-looking chair, that we're so glad we picked. Save yourself the $200 or more extra it would cost to buy a Dutalier.

Like this glider & ottoman
Have had this glider for about 6 months now and like it very much. There are definitely nicer ones out there and I do kind of wish that we spent the extra money to get a nicer one but this one is getting the job done. Very easy to assemble and it has not broken like the others have said. It does sqeak a lot though and we have had to grease it a few times...no big deal though. The seat cushion was ripped when we received it but the company was great and sent a new one out right away. Not the most luxurious but like I said, it gets the job done and is not very expensive.
