Not very true to the Bible, as others have pointed out. I got it at Dollar Tree for a $1, I suggest you do the same. That's about all its worth. If you want to blow 3 hours of your life and watch a very fictionalized, modern interpretation of Paul's life go ahead and get it. The women are a little too "liberated" for the time period. I'm all about women's rights, but historically today's view of a woman's place in society just didn't exist back then...just one of the many historical inaccuracies in this film. I won't even go into the quality of the acting.

Disappointing
I had high hopes for this film, but was soon disappointed. First, I think it's important to know that THIS IS NOT A FAMILY FILM. There are three scenes with gratuitous nudity (derrieres, breasts, etc) and sexual content (a sex scene and a nearly nude Nubian dancer). What kind of content is that to put into a religiously themed film? <

Paul the Apostle
Pretty much scriptual, I don't think they portrayed Saul reguarding his contempt against Christ, as harsh as he really was, but for the most part this movie will give you a better understanding of the Judeasim taking place in that day. Once Saul's conversion, when he became Paul was great, and they could have justly made this a 4 hour movie to expand on his teachings more. This is a soft toed but good account for todays movies, as they tend to ad-lib their own slant, and I didn't see such slants within this movie. ~Sandra D~
