The carrier snaps into the Passage 530 stroller for continuous movement without disturbing baby and the carrier and stroller canopies can be adjusted to completely block out light if baby is sleeping. Alternately, older toddlers can be strapped right into the strollers padded seat with the 3-point harness. Toddlers are kept just as comfy as babies with a multi-position reclining seat, an adjustable canopy, and a pivoting snack tray with a cup holder. Innovations on this stroller include the convenience of folding it with one hand without bending and having it stand on its own while parents put the carrier in the car. Parents will also appreciate the storage basket below the seat that lowers for loading and the organizer tray with cup holders and covered storage compartments. This travel system comes in the country-style Orchard design, a sage green and tan plaid with sage and cranberry accents. --Cristina Vaamonde

Customer Reviews of Passage 530 Travel System - Orchard
Easy to move when folded We bought this stroller because of the way it folds. You can pull it behind you like a wheeled suitcase. Recently the baby (already in the carseat) and I headed towards the car when I realized the stroller was in the shed. I had the carseat (with baby,) diaper bag, and my purse. Because you can pull the stroller behind you when it is folded, it was easy to get it to the car without having to unfold it then re-fold it to load it. I have a mini-van, so its size is not relevant. It's lightweight enough that I can lift it without much thought. I even figured out how to fold it one-handed--lift the handle then push it slightly forward and down. It pushes easily (so far, our baby's only 6 weeks old.) The handle is tall enough for both me (5'7") and my husband (6'.)
Takes up a lot of space!!!!
I found this to be a very heavy car seat. The stroller is very wide and requires two hands to pull out of my trunk. When using the "easy 1 handed fold-up" I find it still requires two hands. One hand to push the button, and the other to fold it, as it is not spring loaded. This stroller takes up my entire trunk and I have a large SUV. Also the car seat is so long that I can only use it in the center seat to allow it to go past where the front seats lie. However, the stroller does drive smoothly.
Good system
We spent a lot of time with our daughter looking at different systems. I'm an Engineer and have to say every system is probably some kind of compromise. WE felt this one had the best combinations for any money. There were systems that may have a higher over all strength but were also heavier. I thought this one folded nicely and the carrier latched in securly with out being problmatic or fussy when removing it. The rear wheels are bigger than some if going up stair is an issue (One other model released both brakes at the same time but this was the heavy one). It was a plesant supprise that it was not the most expensive, though not cheap.
