Customer Reviews of Panasonic NB-G100P 7.2-Quart 1300-Watt Infrared Toaster Oven
Great toaster... I wanted to give it 5 stars but couldn't quite do so. <
>Pros-wonderful toast-best I've had, compact yet roomy,great for frozen items. <
>Cons-called Panasonic to complain that they would make such a great applicance and then not spend the money to give the item an automatic shut off. This is a problem in our house-no one (even Mom) remembers to turn off the on button after each use. Eventually I see the on light button during the day and turn it off, but it is very annoying. Also, does not bake potatoes and other items as well. Gets the tops too brown. Still experimenting on this one. <
>If you can overlook the cons-don't hesitate. I am not sorry I bought it. Best toaster oven that I ever had.
Works great, works fast
We retired our second deLongi toaster oven and took a chance on the Panasonic. We are very glad that we did. It will toast fresh or frozen bread just like you want it, cook frozen pizza, and we have even baked sweet potatoes just right, and unlike the deLongi, it's *fast*.
Regarding of oddly incremented temperature settings of this toaster oven.
I have been looking for toaster oven and found this one on Amazon.com. I read many reviews of this product and found many people dislike this oddly icremented temperature settings. Well, I don't own this one yet and I haven't been home (Japan) for 6 years to see this one in Japanese market by myself so I'm not sure about this but I believe this temparature setting of this toaster is based on Celsius. Japanese use Celsius so I think Panasonic just convert temperature settings into Fahrenheit for US market. 320F is equivalent to 160C, 335F is close to 170C, 355F is equivalent to 180C.
