So that you can have a phone in every room in the house, Panasonic's KX-TG2730 expands to offer up to eight separate handsets (model KX-TGA270S sold separately, one included). Each one can act as an intercom to that room, allowing you to know what's happening even when you're at the other end of the house. Enjoy the benefits of extra extensions without the hassle of extra wires. A four-line LCD panels displays the name and number of callers (with subscription to Caller ID service) and provides access to a 50-number phone directory that supplies one-touch dialing. A 10-number speed dialer and convenient speakerphone are located on the base, as is a fully digital answering system that provides up to 15 minutes of message time, each with a time and date stamp.  Choose from six programmable ringer tones and take advantage of the system's toll saver feature, which allows you to check messages away from home without accruing unnecessary long distance charges.  Good Quality but
I was proud to receive this product initaily. It's works fine. Only problem, we have press hard on the charger to charge this unit. Otherwise, The charging light will not be on. The base unit LCD is very less. It will not display the number you have dailed.
Battery is just awful; everything else is great
I chose to ignore all the reviews about the lousy battery life. I wish I hadn't. I've had the phone a couple months and the battery is so run down, I can't have a single 3-minute conversation. It's just awful. I'm today shopping for a new phone and will never buy Panasonic again.
