Customer Reviews of Pamela Border
Follow THESE Directions We put almost 60 feet of this border up in our baby girl's room. It looks wonderful! The trick - ignore the directions on the package, and buy prepared wallpaper paste. Just take a paint brush and thinly coat the back with paste, then apply to wall. Yes, we did have to apply some more paste on the top and bottom edge once it was on the wall, but this is easy to do if you use a paint brush.
For a very nice look, try what we did. We painted the entire bottom half of our room pink. Opposite top walls were painted lavender, and the other opposite top walls were painted sage green. We placed the border in between the two colors. It is such a bright, colorful room! We even have a special nook that we painted 1/2 pink and 1/2 yellow where her window seat will be. The wallpaper border tied all the colors together beautifully!
Buy these borders, buy some GLUE too!!!
I love these borders-- they look great with the set and make a little girl's room look fabulous. BUT, the glue doesn't stick and the directions are a JOKE. "Reverse roll and submerge in water for 10 seconds." Only about 2 feet of the roll gets wet, and by the time you've gotten most of the roll wet and waited the 5 minutes before adhering to the wall, most of the glue has already washed off. We stopped part way through and bought some wallpaper glue for wallpaper that already had glue on it and it worked much better. You may still have to glue the edges again, but at least it will stick to the wall!!! ALSO-- don't use in LONG pieces. Cut in corners and periodically along long stretches and it will stick better. For the price, this should stick with no problem.
great once you get it up
This boarder was such a pain to put up it doesnt stick well but it looks so pretty once you figure it out:)
