My 3 year old plays this by himself Yes, you may have to help the little ones along a little on this game--but after a few hints be Mommy and Daddy, my 3 (close to 4) year old can finish the game by himself. For less advanced games, try Freddi Fish first, which is very similar and great for problem solving skills! Highly recommend Freddi Fish, Putt Putt or Pajama Sam games. They have very high quality graphics and are not too annoying if left idle for a bit.

well i have beat this whole game and i am ten it was kind of difficult for me even but i liked it because it is challenging although i think that the age thing should be 6-10 because i like myself it is kind of slow because every time you go somewhere or do something the screen turns black and loads for awhile!The great thing is that every time you play theres a different way of beating it!If you need to learn more about your foods and you like adventurous games this is the game for you!

Cute game but they mean it when they say 6 yrs old and up
We bought this game for my son (he is 4 1/2)yesterday it became a family affair to try to solve the puzzles and read the captions. Needless to say most kids his age don't want to have to give up the controller to mom or dad every five minutes so he got bored pretty fast. I thought it would be fun for him, so low and behold here I am on Amazon trying to find something he will enjoy a little more. I ended up playing this after he went to bed and it took me about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to beat the game, and I realized that he wouldn't be able to complete it at his age. Cute game but they mean the 6 and up for the age suggestion.
