You can tell from the price that this is not the choice for industrial-grade users, but it's a decent enough hose for the home woodworker who's using a wet-dry vac or small dust-collection system. We like that it's so flexible, turning corners in a small shop without struggle. And we like that it retracts to a fraction of its extended length, saving lot of space. We wouldn't recommend connection to a larger dust-collection system, though, because the material is not rigid enough to withstand a huge amount of suction. Though we didn't experience any collapse during suction, we think it's possible with a larger machine.  Vacuum Hose - 4"
Inexpensive vacuum hose that works well in many applications. Not quite as stiff and strong as the more expensive hose, but I needed some short lengths to connect to some tools, and this worked out just fine. It does not collapse under a strong vacuum pressure. The thin vinyl covering over a spiral wire makes the hose very flexible. Just pull the length you need out of the 4' long box and cut it off. It will require a hose clamp to attach tightly to a hose coupling or tool coupling.
No problems
Its not as flexible as the clear stuff and does not have an embedded wire. But as a permanent attachment to machines you want to have a bit mobile on your shop floor, they are inexpensive and I think rugged enough to survive without getting punctured easily.
Dust Collector Hose
The item was what I expected. I knew it would not be a high end item but would fit my project nicely. I was extremely disatisfied with the shipping costs and have refrained from placing additional orders becaus of the shipping.
