Customer Reviews of PS2 The Matrix: Path of Neo
Yet another gem in the Matrix Marketing crown I gotta hand it to the Wachowskis--they know marketing. I mean, if you don't play "Enter The Matrix", you miss out on why Niobe and Ghost decide to stay behind with the Neb, and why as a result Commander Lock was so mad at Niobe. If you don't watch "The Animatrix" and the sequence "Flight of the Osiris", you miss out on how Zion got word of the Sentinel attack. If you don't play "The Matrix Online", you miss out on the never-ending unfolding plot that takes place after Neo's death(?). ....And if you don't play this game, "The Path of Neo", you miss out on the neat little training programs that Tank made up in order to buff up Neo, or how Thomas Anderson (possibly) escaped Agent Smith's clutches (if he used the scaffolding to get to the roof of the Metacortex building). ....I mean, honestly. The Wachowski's marketing ploy is just pure genius. You miss out on so much story if you just watch the movies, and don't buy everything else. If all other producers/directors did the same thing with their movies, and interwove sub-plots within videogames, cartoons, etc, they would be making so much more money. To that, Wachoski Brothers, I bow down to you. <

Do NOT buy this game
Worst video game purchase I've made in five years. Endless cut scenes, repetitive and unsatisfying gameplay, pointless "special abilities" and other useless crap, jerky graphics, stupidly complex controls and a completely non-functioning pov camera angle. The Wachowski Bros worked on this? Bullsnot. They loaned their name and cashed a check. Avoid this ripoff like the plague unless you are a twelve year old fanboy with no life.
The Path of Neo
Alright folks, lets recal the last matrix game shall we? bottom line Enter the Matrix wasnt as good as we thoguht. all you die hard matrix fans would definatly like this game The Pate of Neo. Finaly a matriz game where you can play as the chosen one him self, NEO! u basicly play through all 3 movies as neo, the choices you make through out the game effect your gameplay from there and on...

>The Good::: When yo complete a mission you are forced in to a move shop. In the move shop you can purchase new style moves like stopping bullets, dodging dramatic punches and shots, jumping really high, matriz vision, and all diffrent types of punch shoot combos.
<
>Through the game u will be able to expierence the the dramatic fight scene action in the matrix films, u will expierence the action of fighting millions of mr.smiths with a pole, fighting mr.smith in the air and ground. and ofcourse the scene where neo does his little acrobatic, bend my back over to dodge a bullet scene.

>The Bad::: No flying! after all you expect neo the chosen one to fly! it'd be a lot cooler if this was a free roaming game like Grand Left Auto, Hulk ultimate destruction, and spiderman 2. Neo how ever can jump very high sorta like flying.
<
>thts pretty much the only bad, the rest is pretty awsome.
