Nice and Comfortable We went out on a car seat buying frenzy. My daughter outgrew her infant seat at 5 months and of course we needed a new seat. We first bought one that looked good. That was a bad idea because first of all, it was only forward facing (duh!) and it wasn't comfortable at all.
Then, we decided that we'd get one with lots of padding and was somewhat expensive, because expensive means great, right!? Wrong! We bought the alpha omega. That seat was the worst thing I ever tried to put my daughter in. The over-the-head restraint is a pain and it was hard to see where you snap it in between her legs. She's pretty chubby so it was scary because I kept thinking I'd pinch her! Plus the harness twisted TERRIBLY ever time you touched it! AND it was HARD to adjust! In other words, don't buy this one! We had the alpha omega for one day before it was returned.
We then went to BabiesRUs and took down about 10 seats and put her in them, adjusted the harnesses, checked how it straps in the car, and felt how sturdy they were. We were deciding between the ComfortSport, Vanguard5, and Victory5. The Victory5 won out because it was the most comfortable, easiest to adjust, and it fit her the best.
Just a couple of negatives: the straps do twist, but seldomly, and not nearly as bad as the alpha omega; the seat needed to be reclined more than the seat's recline mechanism, only because our Blazer has deep bucket seats. This makes it hit the back of the passenger seat. In our opinion, positives outweigh the negatives. Our daughter is comfortable, the padding is ample, and it's easy to get her in and out of it. If I could, I'd give this seat a 4 1/2. I hope this is helpful and not too long-winded!

I fell in love with the fabric and colors---big mistake.
The crotch strap is NOT adjustable and squeezes into my sons legs every time I try to buckle it. He is 1 year old, in the 10th percentile for height (very short) and 10th percentile for weight. This should not be an issue since he is VERY small.
The seat is EXTREMELY wide---so no one can sit next to the carseat. It has no cupholders. The straps are EXTREMELY hard to adjust. The fabric is all pulled from the velcro on my sons sandals. Of the 4 carseats I've owned for my other kids, I've never had more problems. DO NOT BUY THIS SEAT IF YOU HAVE A BOY OR A CHILD WHO MIGHT GROW -----YOU CAN'T ADJUST THE CROTCH STRAP.
A child can use this until he weighs _________?
