I don't know what they're talking about....
This has been a great swing for my son who's been using it ever since he's born and he's now 3 months old. It doesn't have alot of fancy features, but it is sufficient. The motor is still working well after 3 months of use and my son generally falls asleep in this thing. So I don't know what the others are talking about when they say the motor died on them after one month. Maybe they should have called Graco and asked. It's a good swing for an inexpensive price. Of course there are better swings out there i.e. with a mobile attached or where the tray is removeable (which I actually prefers and should have gotten because it is sometimes hard to put my son in this swing because the tray is not moveable), but of course those swings cost at least...more. Also, instead of buying a swing with a mobile, I bought a removeable toy bar, one that you can attach to car seats, and I attach it to the bars of this swing and my son loves it just the same and I can take the toy bar anywhere as well. I recommend this swing to anyone who wants to just get a basic swing for a good price and do not care to get all the fancy stuffs that could come with it.

Addendum: You have to watch out that this swing doesn't recline fully so your baby could fall asleep falling onto the sides. This is one major thing that I really dislike about the swing. You might want to use a headrest. I downgraded this swing now because of this as it happened twice to me. And also, my baby outgrew it in a couple of months, but he is big for his age. I also wish that the padding was a bit thicker - but then I wish that for all baby products. It seems they all are not very cushiony.

Not too bad...
I have a cradle-type swing at my house, but needed one for my mom's house as well. Not wanting to drop another $100, I decided on this one. For the money, it's a good swing, but I like the other one better. The toy bar/tray on this one is not removable, which makes it really hard to get my daughter out. She was pretty used to sleeping in her swing for a while, and with the one at home I could just lift her out when she was sleeping to feed her, and then put her back in without disturbing her. This one would wake her up, as it was hard to maneuver her legs into the holes. If you just want one to placate baby during the day, I would reccommend this, but it's not good for night use.

Great swing for the money
I have been very satisfied with this swing. I opted to buy a less expensive swing because I was unsure whether my daughter would like one or not. This swing has been fantastic.
