Customer Reviews of One Million Recipes 6.0 Cooking Software
Great information, easy to use! The best thing about this software is not the 1 million recipes. It is the ability to find exactly what you are looking for with ease. It's true that there are over 1 million recipes, and that is great, but the ability to put a few words in the software and run a search is what is so awesome! <

>I have used this software for several months, and I am referring all of my friends and relatives to check it out. There is not a more impressive cookbook on the market in my opinion. <

>There is not only great recipes, but there is intensive cooking instructions and varieties of methods for many recipes, as well as great nutritional information. <

>I can't wait to buy the next version! It's supposed to be a PDA version.
Lots of Recipes, Worthless Nutriton Info,Missing Directions
Just received this Silver Edition (Version 6.0) While I find the volume of recipes enormous, I also find the value of the information lacking. Good thing it didn't cost that much. On receipt I decided just to take a look at some recipes by browsing. Not an easy thing to do since only 9 recipe names are listed at a time. Looked at a few recipes and thought they might be worthwhile. Decided to check the nutritional information on a chicken breast recipe that sounded good. To my amazement the total fat and calories were VERY low. Looking at the ingredients used in the calculation I noticed that the chicken wasn't listed. Also missing was the stuffing mix. Needless to say that is where all the calories and fat would be located. OK, maybe I just got unlucky looking at that one. Checked a few others and the same thing. So if you are looking for nutritional information you can forget using it with this cookbook.

>Looking further into the recipes I found quite a few recipes that listed the ingredients but no instructions on how to prepare the dish. That makes a lot of sense. I guess I should know what to do in their opinion.

>Then there are the recipes that list the ingredients but doesn't list how much to use of each one. That isn't a recipe is it. Surely not in my book.

>I'm sure there are a lot of good recipes in the over 1 million available, but who in the world looked at this before making it available to the public. Obviously no one did. Someone download a bunch of unedited recipes from the internet and stuck them in a database and called it a cookbook. If you are willing to wade through all the recipes, you will find some good ones. That is the only reason I gave it 3 stars.

Best recipe software of all!
Finally, I found the recipe software I've been looking for!
<
>This cooking software is very intuitive and easy to use. It gives me nutritional information on each recipe; it allows me to change the number of servings while it automatically does the math on the amount of ingredients needed, and it has a calendar/meal planner feature. I can pick my favorite recipes and place them in the calendar-making meal planning a cinch! It also allows me to add, edit, and customize new recipes. The search engine is faster than any other recipe software. And besides of these cool features, it has over one million recipes. The One Million Recipes cooking software really stands above all the rest. It's the best!
