What a headache.... This was exactly what I was looking for in a "entertainment center" but unfortunately, it turned into a nightmare. The first one I ordered arrived and had pieces of glass falling out of the packaging. I contacted Amazon and was told the item was no longer in stock, they would no longer be carrying the item and to return it for a refund. The day after I shipped it back I was looking for something similiar and found the exact same item now in stock. After contacting Amazon again, I was told I would have to reorder it (which I had a problem with as they had not yet issued me a credit for the damaged one I had recieved). I reordered the item and the one I got this time had 13 damaged components. The instructions state to contact O'Sullivan for "easy replacement of damaged parts". I called them and was told that 13 pieces damaged was excessive and that I needed to exchange the entire unit. I contacted Amazon and returned the item (again, and at this point I was still waiting for a credit from the first one I ordered). The third unit arrived and this one only had 9 damaged pieces (lucky me). Again, this constituted excessive damage. I decided (for I don't know what reason) to keep 4 damaged pieces (mostly chips in the veneer towards the back, so nothing major but for the money being spent....) and request 5 pieces for replacement. By this time it's been 35 days since the order was first placed and I finally recieved credit from Amazon for the first unit. At the 48 day mark, I recieved the replacement pieces for this unit (2 of which were slightly damaged). The unit looks very nice from a distance, but when you get up close you find that fit and finish are an issue (e.g. drawer tracks don't slide very smoothly). This could have been a great centerpiece to my home theater. Unfortunatley, due to the sheer number of issues I had with this item, I would highly reccomend looking for something else.
