Customer Reviews of Nu-Mixx Klazzics
4.5 Stars/Very Underrated I don't know what the big deal is about this new record; I think, 7 years after his death, it's good to hear updated versions of Pac songs. Death Row did a nice job on these songs and I think most of them are bumpin.
1)Amerikaz Most Wanted - 5/5 The best song on the CD, Crooked I sounds good, great beat, I don't like the censoring of the references to Snoop but still a good song
2)How Do U Want It - 5/5 I got kind of sick of the old version, this version is new and sounds very much like the Death Row of old-gangsta style
3)Hail Mary - 4/5 I like this just as much as the original, this version is dark and mysterious and the beat is decent
4) Life Goes On - 1/5 Horrible, I don't even bother
5) All Eyez on Me - 4/5 - Pretty good, not better than the original but good
6)Heartz of Men - 5/5 - Bumpin. I got kind of sick of the old one as well this is a good remix, nice beat
7) Toss It Up - 5/5 One of my favorite Pac songs, I like it just as much as the original, sounds very similar, always a joy
8) Hit Em Up - 3.5/5 - Not as good as the original, the beat doesn't fit the song, but still decent
9) Never Had a Friend Like Me - 5/5 - Much better than the original, very good song
10) Ambitionz Az a Ridah - 4.5/5 - Not bad at all, not as mysterious as the original, but the beat works
Great Album to update Pac's songs; I got sort of sick listening to Pac's old songs, so this is a good album to listen to because the beats capture the same theme as the originals and they sound new and fresh. "Life Goes On" is the only one I don't care for. Suge is doing a great job, give him some credit
Some more people try to make money off Tupac
How many more albums like this are we gonna have to endure? Admittedly i wasn't the hugest fan of Tupac when he was alive, but i respected him as an artist, and do in fact appreciate much of the music he created. However, after a slew of sub par posthumous releases, i simply have to reproach not only the record companies who continue to use Tupac's legacy as a tool to make money for themselves, but also the artists who contribute to this garbage that they try to pass off as Tupac. No matter how much you love Tupac, you have to be sickened by the manner in which artists like the so-called "Outlawz" are using their affiliation with Tupac as a stepping stone to get their own names into the public eye. You all make me sick. Have some respect for Tupac, and don't buy those "til the end of time" cd's and instead try to find the original versions of those songs, some of which, were extraordinary in their k.c.- and-jojo-less form. Aside from Tupac's voice and lyrics, this cd is trash. Everybody just needs to move on.
I don't even have to listen to this CD...
to know it's BS. There are more CD's released after Tupac's death than before his death, which I find somewhat pathetic. Just stick to listening to his older tracks and avoid remix crap like this. I also heard Suge (who authorized this crap to make money) was also involved in the murder of Notorious B.I.G (one of my favorite rappers), which I find disgraceful and horrendous.
