You guys have no clue whatsoever
People who complain that a movie is slow appearantly will enjoy some action-thriller garbage with Jackie Chan or Bruce Willis because one's IQ doesn't have to be too big. To watch and understand a motion picture with the depth of this brilliant film requires ... well ... concentration and intelligence. One of the so-called critics said the only good thing about the film was that Luke Perry was in it. Oh, how intelligent, how explicative. That's the kind of comment one would expect from someone who wouldn't know a good movie if it bit them. Well this film was based on a true story. People confuse slowness with character development --and it was essential in helping us understand why people did what they did. And about Ashley Judd being naked through half the movie? HALF? HALF? Think about that. That's, at best, an exaggeration. She was not naked for an hour, not even for a half an hour. Not even for fifteen minutes collectively. How does that amount to half? And how often do real people walk around the house topless or naked--a lot, especially when they don't live with mommy and daddy anymore. I found this a very well made movie, but am not alone. Gene Siskel (a prominent movie critic, if you know what they are) found it to be one of the best movies released that year. It's all a matter of opinion, I know, but I think people who want to review such a film (escpecially one this good) need to validate their criticisms. But I imagine that's impossible for some people because it requires a mentality of an adult.

This movie was horrible!
Ok, so it had Luke Perry in it. That is the only posistive thing to say. The plot was underdeveloped and dragged on. the characters were uninteresting and not very credible. Why Ashley Judd had to be naked in half the movie I don't know. All in all, a frustrating story with a very unsatisfying ending.

Great Movie
First off this was a true story. If you like drama movies you will like this. I really like this movie. Plus its even neater to me because all of the events that happend took place in my neighborhood hood and it was even filmed in my neighborhood. Perry and Judd's trailers were right down the street from my house when the movie was being filmed. But i really suggest watching this movie it was great.
