Don't be fooled--you don't need a proprietary Wii SD card
Just to clarify -- an SD memory card is a great thing to have for your Wii. The Wii comes equipped with a small hard drive, but if you're saving game data and/or downloading a lot of virtual console games (like me) you're eventually going to run out of room--and that's where these cards come in handy. It virtually gives you unlimited space since you can just buy more cards whenever you fill one up. <

Not as useful as I thought...
I bought this thinking I would be able to save my gamecube games to it and not worry about having to plug in my old gamecube memory cards each time. But you are not able to do this so to me atleast its not very useful.

I just purchased a blue one for 10.00 on ebay. The white color and the word Wii is not worth 30.00 extra.
