Customer Reviews of Nintendo DS Electric Blue
I want to trade it in for a Nintendo DS Lite Don't get me wrong, its a good gaming system, except I would rather have a Lite. The reason why? Well, the first day I got it, the screen was already scratched from the stylus. I only played it for an hour or so! Also, I've had it for two years and one of the hinges broke. They're really sensitive, especially the screen. But, overall, the DS is fun.
Just Plain Great!
My husband and I purchased a DS for our 10-year-old son for Christmas. He'd been begging for one for awhile, and we finally decided to give in.

>I am very impressed with the DS, not only for its graphics, but also for its durability. I was a little worried that it would be too "fragile" for a typical young boy, but the well-made construction seems as if it will stand up to whatever comes its way. Even the stylus, although small, is well-made, and isn't used for everything.

>The graphics are great, the lighting is good, and it fits perfectly in my son's hands. We also like that he can play his Game Boy Advance games on the DS, of which he owns several.

>I know many are now going for the DS Lite, but I think the plain ole' original DS is just as good! For a boy who loves all Nintendo games, and Mario & Luigi in particular, this was a great investment as a Christmas present!

Limited
I had just sold all my DS things to Gamestop a week ago. Let me tell you, I felt so limited with it. Tons of games, but they have no value. I got a PSP and it is incredible. Amazing. If you have a choice, save your money for a PSP. Again, the games have poor quality. And the console has very limited capabilities.
