A cheese lovers feast
Now it needs to be noted that the Crash Cinema version of this movie is a 90 minute compilation of a 12+ hour TV series from Taiwan. 12+ hours!!! So don't be surprised when you see cameos by great screen fighters like Wong Chi-sang and Robert Tai and they don't even fight. Luckily, there are plenty of stars you can actually watch fight in this. Lee-I-Min(7 Grandmasters and Ninja Checkmate) has a great fight with 2 white guys from California and throws down in the finale. William Yen has a couple decent fights. The main villian Alan Lee is nothing special but he does have some great comedic moments. Of course the movie stars Alexander Lo Rei and of course we get those close up shots of his muscles. And what would a Lo Rei ninja movie be without him fighting Eugene Thomas? Thomas plays the black monk from Harlem and the ninja are really PO'ed at him for some reason. <

>Now of course the movie sounds pretty crazy so far but the most famous scene of the movie is the part where ninjas attack a woman who is sleeping in a bath tub and she jumps out to fight them naked. She is naked for over a minute before she finally covers up a bit and Lo Rei shows up in his underwear to fight along side her. All that I will tell you is that director Robert Tai does not try to hide anything in this scene. <

>Overall the action is average, not above and not below. The movie deserves a 2/5 but I give huge repect to whoever edited this and made it watchable even after cutting out about 11 hours of the actual TV series. So the action is average but the cheese rating is very high. Recommended for ANY fan of the ninja genre. <

>The version from Crash Cinema is not widescreened but closer to full screen. Still a watchable picture and same quality as most old school movies.
