Customer Reviews of Nikon SB-600 Speedlight Flash for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras
Wireless works great!!! I should have bought one of these years ago, after looking at the results on my computer screen. The wireless function works really well with my D70, and indoor photos look great when using bounce flash. It does take a little practise to figure out all the options and settings for different kinds of shots, but this does allow a lot of creativity. It recharges quickly after each shot, sometimes instantly if the last photo didn't need too much power. The wireless function works at least 50 feet away, and doesn't ever misfire. It is a little bulky compared to the sb-400, but the wireless feature was well worth it.
Nice upgrade from the onboard flash
I'm very happy with my SB-600 on my [[ASIN:B000O19JF2 Nikon D40x]]. Having the ability to bounce the flash off of the ceiling or a reflector has really improved the quality of my photos. I'm not currently using this flash as a slave, but I bought this one rather than the SB-400 because of that ability.

>You should know that the weight of this flash, plus the 4 AA's that it requires does throw off the balance of your camera a bit, and the added weight takes a little getting used to.
Sb-600
I am very pleased with this flash. I have had pro flashes in the past and this is the nicest and easiest to use. The way it 'bonds' with my d80 is almost spooky! Go for it.
