Malfunctioned after only a few uses
This is great for cutting potatoes. However, I use onions in several meals a week, and after only a few uses, one of the blades started coming loose, bending, and cutting into the plastic cutting board below. I was no longer able to effectively use my Nicer Dicer. <
>However, the booklet says it has a 5 year warrantee. So I sent it back to the company. <

What an excellent time saver!
I would never have bought this product if I saw the infomercial, but my mother-in-law did. The ad makes it look kind of cheap. But I got to try it at my MIL's house and I was impressed enough to buy one of my own. I was making a dip that called for diced onions and tomatoes; MIL took the vegetables out of my hand and put them in the Nicer Dicer. I was scared she was going to mash my tomatoes, but they came out in perfect tiny dice (apparently, though, when slicing an end of a tomato, you have to put the skin against the base and the flesh against the blade of the dicer or it will mash). <

>MIL also used this to dice potatoes for potato salad, and says she used it for eggs (egg salad), apples (Waldorf salad), carrots, cucumbers, and even lettuce with very good results. <

>Reviews I have read on other sites said the ND was difficult to clean, but I found it very easy to clean--you just push up the bottom of the base and any trapped veggie goo is pushed out and rinses right off.
