Good Magazine to get a different view
Anyone who says there is not a liberal slant in the media overall is slanted themselves. Today the right side of the isle has had its word heard through the words of Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Rielly, etc. Newsmax is a monthly overview of sorts of some of the more specifics issues of the day from a very right of the isle perspective.

Anyone who reads the mainstream press will definately notice that there has always been an anti-republican perspective. So along with the Washington Times, talk radio, FOX TV, there is Newsmax.

I like Newsmax in a balanced way, there are some ideas that are way too right for this middle of the road person. Some of the ads make you think that they come from another country altogether. You can get some good discount books through them via Amazon as well.

Newsmax is worth having as a subscription and a good source for alternative perspectives, even George Putnam, a Reagan Democrat who really loved JFK is featured, so there is the other side of the issues attended to.

Balance your Brain
This magazine is for people who want to be in charge of their own critical thinking and not have it done for them by the liberal media. You will not agree with everything in it just as you will not agree with everything you get in Newsweek or on CNN, but at least you will now recognize where the biases are. So many of the public take mainstream media as the absolue truth but after reading NewsMax they will see both sides of the issue and can decide for themselves. I am a law student and find this magazine valuable in forming some of the best informed debates and papers of anyone in my class. I am always ready for whatever my opponents throw at me because I have gotten both sides of the story.

Cut through a sea of liberalism and get the FACTS
I've found Newsmax magazine to be very competent, and well-organized in dealing with the political, social, and economical issues of the day. I'm often surprised by how hot-off-the-press events are already documented and recorded in this publication.

You can't, in good conscience, say this is a "fair and balanced" magazine. One must admit (but unapologetically so) that the news organization has a generally conservative outlook on life. But hey, you have to find the other side of issues, given that you get the liberal version of the story from just about everywhere else. (Try New York Times, Los Angeles Times CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN...)

Your average issue contains about eighty pages, and they are chock full of news (often items that you don't find anywhere else) as well as interviews, editorials, and commentaries. You really need this magazine, and here's why. Every American has not only the right but the duty to participate in politics, and you have the right to get both sides of the story. If you are conservative, you owe it to yourself to be informed about current events. And if you are liberal, then get this magazine so that no one can accuse you of being unfair and one-sided. That not to mention you might learn a thing or two about your party that may change the way you think!
