WAY better than a bjorn
I just love this carrier. I wanted a baby bjorn, but the price was just too much. I bought a bjorn on ebay and was not satisfied at all - it was an older model and was a pain to get our baby in and out of as I had to put it on over my head, and snap her in (the snaps were tough and loud, i almost wacked her in the head getting them undone!) - and she screamed the entire time. I tried this carrier out in the store with our daughter. She was asleep and I was able to quickly get her in and out without waking her up. This carrier was easy to put on (just one strap over the head instead of both like others). Also, there was an additional lumbar support strap that really helps take the strain off my back. I also love that the back lumbar strap and shoulder straps are fully adjustable with one hand - you don't have to guess what size to buy - one size fits all (a major plus as my husband is 6'5"). The buckles are also a smart design and not complicated. They are also silent - so you won't wake up baby putting them in or getting them out. Also, this carrier has a pocket on the front for a small wallet, cell phone, etc. I trust the eddie bauer name and am confident in its durability. All this for about 1/3 less than the bjorn! I couldn't be more pleased!!!
