Great Dresser for the Price
We bought the Madison Lifetime Crib, but didn't like the dresser or armoire that went with the set. After looking around at all the choices, we settled on this. It had the sleigh design of the crib, and also came in natural finish, so it would match. Of course, it's not carried in stock, so we had to special order. If you have to order anything from Babies R Us, order very early. We were told 7-14 days. That came and went. On day 21 we were told first that the "holiday rush" put things behind. Then, we were told the truck was cancelled. Maybe the dresser would be on the next truck. I asked when that would be. Probably next Friday, if it wasn't cancelled, but they weren't sure my dresser would be on that truck, if they even got it. I'm due in 2 weeks, this was unacceptable. The store manager was very nice, and asked what she could do. We bought the floor model at a discounted price. <
> I have to say that for the price of this piece, it's well made. The drawers glide nicely and are very quiet. (Yes, some of the dressers we looked at were noisy for some reason.) The design is beautiful and looks great in the nursery. The only thing I didn't like was the knobs. They are bulky and very pointy. We went to Lowe's and bought different knobs for each drawer. We got some that matched the nursery theme, others we just thought were cool. This was an easy thing to fix and made the dresser a bit more personal. We put the square ones in a bag taped to the bottom of the dresser. As our daughter gets older we can use them if she wants, or continue to purchase knobs to match her room. <
> If you are budget conscience like most of us, you'll find this to be a good piece for you. It matches the $400 crib we bought perfectly, and no one can tell it doesn't belong with the set.

Very Nice
Drawer was well packaged and protected for shipping. Nothing broken, looks great we plan on completing the set. Now we just need the little guy to hurry up.

Nice but not sturdy
This is a beautiful chest. However, once I received it I realized that all of the drawers were pooly assembled. They were made with cheap poplar wood that was split in every drawer. My husband had to reinforce all of the drawers and completely rebuild the last drawer. This is a wonderful looking chest but poorly constructed.
