Nice Shelf - but needs better directions
I bought this shelf for my son's room, I love the cute little bins and the shelf is a great size, not too big, not too small... It was pretty simple to put together, it took about 1/2 hour or so, but the directions are horrible if you are not used to putting furniture together properly. There are not written directions, only about 3 pictures/diagrams showing you where things should go. I have found this problem with all the furniture I have bought from Target, there are basically no directions just pictures.

Great concept that falls short
This organizer is sturdy, durable and colorful. It assembles easily IF you have a electric screwdriver (there are many, many screws involved). However, the shelf can only be stored vertically, not horizontally or vertically as with competitors' shelves. Storing them vertically, especially on a thick carpet, can be a tipping hazard. And the storage bins themselves are very small, making them impractical for many kids' toys. A nearby competitor sells a three-bin shelf with bins that can be set horizontally or vertically. The bins are also much larger than this model.

disappointed
My husband and I bought this shelf unit for our son's room. I put the bins together and waited for my husband to finish. He couldn't finish because the dowel rods didn't fit the way they were supposed to. One dowel rod went through the shelf and made a hole. How tacky. We are returning this tomorrow and will think twice before buying furniture again from Target.
