Customer Reviews of Nations: WWII Fighter Command
Not worth it i'm sorry but the game is not that great. The gameplay and graphics are 'SMASH'! Just don't buy it, cause you may resale it.
Actually more like 3&1/2
Not the best ww2 flight sim out there, but not bad - just different. I've tried every ww2 flight sim to come out over the past few years and this one has some definite good points to it. With a good video card and processor, the graphics are pretty. The sounds are great as well with a good hefty engine roar and explosions. The sim seems to handle large numbers of aircraft in the air well with good dogfighting sequences. On the down side, the damage models could have been much better. Planes can only really loose a wing or blow up - not unlike combat flight sim. My biggest beef is the lack of a mission editor of any kind. You can not control the weather, time, or which aircraft you fly in a given mission. I'm not sure if they did this to make some extra bucks on a mission pack, but I believe any flight sim without a mission editor is substandard.
Why bother releasing this.
This is the worst WWII flight sim of the bunch. The game play is horrible, and dispite the graphics on the box, the in game graphics stink. Configuring anything in the game is impossible, just don't waste your money.
