The Ultimate Ninja.
If you like Ninja's and the magical powers they use then you'll be deep into Naruto. This series has one of the best stories and some of the most interested characters you'll find in a Japanese anime. Kishi, the creator, creates many ways to confuse you and make you think about the events going on throughtout the story. Most fans love the mind games and he really keeps you guessing. I reccomend this to anybody who loves Ninja's, DBZ, and Japanese myths. This is the anime for you.

BEST ACTION ANIME EVER!!!
I highly recommend this anime. It has good animation and story line, great action and funny parts, and best of all, THE GREATEST SOUNDTRACK EVER!! I was blown away by how awesome the music is. Whether the scene is sad, funny, romantic, or action-packed, the background music always puts you right in the moment. I strongly urge you to buy the boxed sets and not the individual discs because the sets are so much better. It shows alot more blood and action that the network found to be too graphic for young kids. The blood isn't excessive, it just makes it more realistic. <
> As for the boxed set itself, the shiny cover is really cool, the inside case has some neat artwork, and it comes with an original storyboard booklet of episode 8. It's pretty much a little manga book. The special features are good too, with a very tempting preview of the second boxed set. <
> The only bad part about the series is that sometimes they analyse their moves too much or talk too much during a battle when you wish they would just hurry up and fight. Also, Naruto's main slogan "Believe It!" gets old really fast. <
> But these down-sides are very small when you look at the big picture and if you dont like the series that much, give it a second chance because it gets so much better as the series progresses. Again, I strongly recommend this series as one of the 5 best animes of all time, but be sure to buy the boxed sets because, compared to the edited single disks, they're so much better. And make sure to get the DVD's from Amazon.com because I don't think you'll find a better price anywhere else. <

Great Anime Lots of Ninja Fights and Good Storyline But Some Voices Don't Do It
I started watching the series on youtube and got hooked the animation is very well done the storyline would take to long to really explain but the short version is you have Naruto a young ninja who strives to become Hokage or leader of his ninja village through this he'll take missions and quests at the discretion of his village and his own moral standing.The plot in the beginning is the Forth Hokage of the leaf village used a jutsu(A Kind Of Mystical Technique) to stop the nine-tailed fox a creature of incredible power and almost unlimited charkra(Basically Energy Ninjas Use For Their Technique)but to finish the jutsu he needed to place the nine-tailed fox in the body of a young baby namely Naruto.The Forth Hokage dies after performing this jutsu.As Naruto grows up he is ostracized by the older generation of ninja because some of them see him as a danger if the nine-tailed fox gets loose from the seal placed on Naruto's body or that Naruto is really the Nine-tailed fox in human form so Naruto tries to show he is neither the Nine-tailed fox or the threat they think he is.Thus he tries to become stronger and be recognized as a leaf-village hero.Through the series Naruto will be teamed up with other young ninja from the village and slowly friendships start to form between these young ninjas.The english voice actors for the most part are pretty decent but I like some others feel that they should have gotten someone else to do the voice of Naruto for me I prefer the japanese voice actor for Naruto than the one Viz got to do Naruto's voice for english audio.I've decided to buy these box sets because of the three disk collection and the price their being sold for you don't have to do this as these sets are sold about five months apart and the fifth set won't be coming out until december.The only thing about buying the single disk are that they are censored which means some of the more violent scenes will be removed or toned down.An example would be when someone is hit you won't see blood like you would with these uncut box sets as well as anything they might find objectionable to some of the younger viewers.So if you want the uncut edition buy the box sets and see Naruto the way they show it over in Japan.
