>This game makes little sense at best. You're met with pointless missions, some new random characters, tedious tasks and a confusing power grid. When given the chance to play with other characters you're left unsatisfied and irritated.

>The game play isn't bad, but there is no direction at all and the plot is nearly nonexistent. The battles are very repetitive and by the end of the game you're only still playing because you want to see how it ends.

>It should be mentioned that in order to unlock new characters you'll need to beat the game multiple times. No way, once was enough! Another lousy Naruto game.
Ummmm....
Maybe it's just me, but why would anyone want to play a game with no sense of plot. Granted, I liked the special abilities of Naruto, but not being able to play as one of the other characters without a time limit being set was lame. I would have also liked to at least be able to do the early missions of story canon (you know, Mist village and the Chuunin exam? No spoilers there), even if the later stuff with fighting Itachi was left out. It also might have been fun to have to learn the Rasengan rather than just having it at the start, and being stuck in a "time warp" between the time of fifth Hokage and Sasuke's defection. Nothing happens that is relevant to the plot, you don't get to see much of the girls (so it's heavily male oriented without love interest, and therefore without much depth), and for bosses? Don't make me laugh, for some reason you spend nearly all your time fighting the teammates they gave you.

>That being said, the one highlight of the story I actually liked was the shopgirl mission, where you got to clear out the store from thieves to set up the ninja store to buy items. But then it all sucked again, when you realized in the absence of money you had to barter everything.
