Customer Reviews of Nano Bag Red
?? fits what age, size...?? I had the same question as "psalm", my daughter is also expecting in June. After much searching I finally found the answer to what SIZE will it fit. I gave it a 3 because I have not bought or used yet, but it does sound great! Here you go - psalm...From the Manufacturer
The Nano Bag is one of those great products you never knew you needed. Its unique design keeps parents writing us about how it simplifies their lives and makes their babies happy. Nano Bag fits most strollers, joggers and infant car seats due to openings for the safety straps and with its adjustable hooded closure, the baby is always warm. It is the only product in the market in its category that is water repellent, allowing parents to use it also during rainy or snowy days. Nano Bag comes in four bright colors and it is machine washable. One size fits babies from newborns to up to 30".
good idea and safe too!!
This was the best thing I bought for my son so far. My son was born in December and it has been very cold out. The nano bag lets the car seat strap come through the back and you buckle the baby inside the bag. The bag doesn't add any more cushion than if you put a heavy coat on him. This product you don't need to use a heavy jacket. just put him in the bag with some warm clothes, buckle him up, put a blanket and hat on him ,then zip him up.
As far as safety goes, I think this is better than having to buckle him up around all that clothing. Those people giving poor reviews of the nano bag should have bought the product before giving advice about its safety. The person writing the review about "Very dangerous product" and the "material could compress" has not seen how this works with the car seats. As I stated before you buckle the baby up inside the outfit from the slots that are in the back of the bag that allows the harness to connect inside the bag. This allows you to dress your child less and would not have material that could compress as a heavy jacket would.
Ignorance is not innocence but sin.
Love it, but could use improvement for strap openings
I posted in Dec 2003 about my Nano sack. Here's an update. It lasted through a very cold winter in an infant seat. My only gripe was that as my daughter grew, the side slits for the shoulder harness & buckle didn't fit as well as I thought they should. If the zippered area had extended further up the backside, it would have been easier getting her in & out of her carseat. I also wouldn't have had to use the adjustment for crotch buckle.
That said, I am very pleased with the product. When it became too warm for it's use in the car, I switched it to our jogging stroller. It didn't have much padding. So I used an infant terry headrest on the inside of the nano bag. It works very nicely. Even though the weather has warmed up, it's still on the stroller. I have it unzipped & folded down. She loves the softness.
My daughter has just switched to a larger carseat and I figure that when the weather chills down again, I'll use the Nano bag once more to keep her dry.
She's now 9 months old & 18 pounds. Hard to believe she was ever a tiny preemie.
tchuss all.
