Customer Reviews of Namo WebEditor 2006
Product Good, Tech Support Awful Well I love Namo products and have been using them since Webeditor 5. The programs are the best out there. They blow Micrrosoft Frontpage and Dreamweaver out of the water. However Namo's tech support is practically non existent. They don't answer their phone, faxing for help is bad, and the email method is just as bad. Your emails are answered about two weeks later, as is the same with the fax method. One very important word of advice though. Do not download and buy Namo right from Namo's website. (namo.com) If your computer crashes and you lose everything, which happened to me, it will take you two weeks for them to respond with the link to where you can download your Namo version that you paid for. They have private links for those who need another copy of Namo, and you will get it, but it will take about two weeks and in that time your site will be out of commission and you won't be able to edit it. Not good if you run a store or any kind of ecommerce. Buy Namo in hard copy instead of buying the downloadable version so you can reinstall right after your crash and you have gotten the computer back up and running. I bought my hard copy at Amazon and am always pleased with Amazon's service. The copy I bought was on sale. I also did an overnight because I have to constantly edit my website stores. It was cheaper to buy it at Amazon and overnight it than it was to buy it directly at Namo. I also trust Amazon because if anything goes wrong, you can call and inquire about your order. You can't do that with Namo. I would have rated this 5 stars because Namo products are the best out there for creating websites, but it's the almost non existent tech support and contacting Namo that bring the rating down to 4 stars. As long as you buy a hard copy and not the downloadable form, then you should be fine. Anything besides a computer crashing and needing a new copy will be covered at Namo's help forum where there are lots of wonderful people who are always willing to help you through a problem.
Just what I needed
Works flawlessly, easy to use for most jobs, has many more features if you care to explore. The printed manual is a nice thing to have for a product like this.

>I use Namo WebEditor 2006 to import and edit existing pages, even ones with external CSS. The WYSIWYG edit feature is good, I like the split screen edit/html, and the ease to switch between views.

Namo Web Editor 2006 Suite
I have played with most of the popular WYSWYG web site building applications and Namo by far has the most potential. I am looking forward to doing some serious work with it.
