The 1700M's high resolution with true color (more than 16 million shades) looks great, but its FullScan technology also supports most standard lower resolutions while still filling all of the display area. The analog interface supports a variety of video cards, minimizing video compatibility problems.

Flat out cheap and simple The NEC LCD1700M 17" Flat Panel Monitor is a high-quality analog TFT active-matrix LCD that elegantly displays images while avoiding being the heavy cumbersome object that most monitors are today. It keeps the level of quality that great 17" monitors do have, yet has the felxibility to be moved around at a moment's notice (only 16 pounds!).
