Customer Reviews of Musical Mobile - Sun, Moon & Stars
Cute Idea for babies room I registered for this mobile because I thought it matched the crib bedding I bought from Kidsline (the Seventh Heaven Series), it did match and it was cute. My son loves his mobile, from about 2 months on, he would lay in the crib and just stare and laugh at it. The reason why I gave the mobile 3 stars is because it is not stimulating enough, nor does it last long enough. I am glad that I held my son's attention and made him happy, but there are much more stimulating mobiles out on the market. I wanted this one because it matched the decor of his nursery, next time I will know better. However, I can't complain because it was a gift and it served it's purpose.
Very cute match to Sun, Moon & Stars decor
The bears on this mobile are adorable and it matches SO perfectly with the rest of the Sun, Moon & Stars theme. The instructions were horrible, but luckily, I was able to use common sense to get it together. No, it's not bright and attention-getting, but it's not supposed to be! It coordinates with the soft pastel theme very nicely, as it should and I have no problems with the length of time the song plays or getting it to revolve. It works great; just could've had better assembly instructions.
Not worth it
22 bucks for a mobile? I don't understand why something so low tech and cheap costs so much. Yes, this mobile is cute (which is why they can get away with charging so much) and it matched my moons and stars theme perfectly. BUT...The wind up doesn't last very long and you have to keep winding. Also, it broke after 2 months and wouldn't wind any more. I ended up buying the Fisher Price aquarium for about 30 bucks (not much more) that has lights, movement, and best of all it goes for 10 minutes! A much better use of money in my opinion.
