Customer Reviews of Mother's Touch Bouncer with Remote
Nickyboa This bouncer is not all bad. My son didn't like it as a newborn, but now at 2 and a half months old he likes it. I do agree that it is not the most stable seat around. I probably won't use it past four months or so, when he is heavier and can tip more easily. Also, one thing I don't like is the fact that there are no sides to this chair. But as long as baby is strapped in, it shouldn't pose a problem. As far as the automatic bounce feature goes, when the baby is sitting in the chair it really doesn't bounce much at all. My son bounces the chair more from his own movements. I gave this chair three stars because for the price (not too high compared to other chairs) it's not all bad. But if you do want a more stable bouncer and you think your baby will use it a lot, you're better off spending more money.
Terrible design
If I could give -0- stars, I would. I bought this, rather than a portable swing, as I thought it would work as well. I liked that the toy bar was movable (for kicking fun, or hand play), I liked the canopy, and a few other things.
As I was putting it together, I started getting worried about the quality. The heavy part that fits at the foot, where the batteries go, didn't fit on very well. When I put the batteriesn in, the casing didn't close securely over the batteries. Then I started realizing how front heavy it was going to be. I went to take the battery cover off of the remote and the screw would not come out. My husband finally got it off. The seat cover, as mentioned, was also another gripe I had (apparently, rightfully so!).
Once it was all put together, I showed my husband all of my "issues" with this product.. mainly, the potential tipping hazard. It would only take a small lunge or jerk forward for it to topple over. My husband and I both agreed to take it back.
I bought it, put it together and was returning it to the store in less than 2 hours. This should be taken off the market until all it's problems are fixed.
Get Something Else
I got this bouncer because the seat back adjusted and it had an automatic bounce mode. However, I agree with most of the other posts. The seat is tippy and the bounces are to jarring for baby. Additionally, my baby does not like this chair. She cries when placed into it. My mother and sister both have different bouncy chairs that she likes. (I think my 3 month old daugher would only have given 1 star).
