Customer Reviews of Moscow Peace Festival, Vol. 1
"Awesome Musical Event" This Rock Musical Event will make you wish you were there to witness personally live performances from Skid Row, Cinderella, & Bon Jovi because they really ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! I truly wish someday they would combine Vol.1 & Vol.2 on DVD and that would further give meaning on the clarity of picture quality and sound. A deserving 5 stars on Vhs and A deserving 10 stars on the DVD release. "Rock On".
AWESOME AWESOME!
This is an EXCELLENT concert video featuring performances from three of the best 80's bands.This video is volume 1 in a 2 volume set documenting the Moscow Music Peace Festival.For those of you who don't know,Moscow Music Peace Festival was a heavy metal festival that featured Skid Row,Cinderella,Bon Jovi,Motley Crue,Gorky Park,Ozzy and the Scorpions that promoted sobriety.This video features the first three bands I mentioned above.Here is my review of each band;
Skid Row performs first.This is the classic lineup featuring Bach,Snake,Hill,Bolan and Affuso.They perform a cover of the Sex Pistols'"Holidays In The Sun".They then play their songs "Makin A Mess","Piece Of Me","Big Guns","18 And Life",and
my favorite "Youth Gone Wild."My only complaint is that Sebastian Bach has to be THE most ignorant frontman I have ever seen next to Axl Rose.He makes remarks about how they should have shotput carts instead of golf carts,and that Lenin Stadium is John Lennon stadium.
Cinderella is next.They perform the songs "Fallin Apart At The Seams","Comin'Home","Nobody's Fool",my favorite "Gypsy Road",and "Shake Me".Tom Keifer isn't the best singer ever,but he is a MUCH better frontman than Sebastian Bach.I like them better than Skid Row,but not as much as Bon Jovi.
Bon Jovi closes this show.They perform "Lay Your Hands On Me",my favorite "Wild In The Streets,"Blood On Blood","Wanted Dead or Alive",and "Livin' On A Prayer".They are my favorite band on here,and one of my favorite bands.At the end,they form an all star jam band and play "Hound Dog" and "Rock and Roll".
Awesome
For the best in great concerts.......esp.for old bands(CRUE,JOVI,OZZY,CINDERELLA,SCORPIANS),very worth the time to own!
