folks, this is classic computer animation. i saw this @ the Fleet Space theatre along with it's cousin "Beyond" and bought them both on the way out. Reynolds & Hammer's soundtracks are genius..and to all the studios involved in these...thank you. Sure, they are a bit 'dated' now...but at the time...these videos DEFINED computer animation. thanks to all involved..especially Angel Studios, and

Yeah!
I first heard this on an NPR broadcast about early to mid 1995, and was so impressed that I have been trying to track down the name and the music title ever since. For some reason, many retailers I spoke to knew of the title and its composer, but nobody ever had it. I am delighted to finally be able to listen to it again, and scratch this off my to-do list.

this CD is a lost treasure
I first saw 'The Minds Eye' in college when a friend of mine who knew I was a fan of animation set to music sat me down, shut off the lights, turned the volume up high on his stereo, and watched me as I was transported into a world of imagination I never knew existed. The animation is very special in this movie, but more than that, James Reynolds has used his brilliant technique to move the animation and make it an emotional experience. It is a powerful score with warmth and passion as it allows the listener to create visions of their own and let the music take them only to the limits of their own imagination. I recommend this music to anyone with an open mind and an open heart.
