Customer Reviews of Miele Champagne with SEB 236 Power Nozzle (Metalic Gold Bronze)
Swallow the pricetag, its more than worth it !!!! Well, like many of you out there looking for vacuums I'm sure you have heard talk of those vacuums that are in the upward price range of a thousand or more dollars and said to yourself...not in a million years would I spend that much on a vacuum. You see, it was always my little secret that I wanted a Miele vacuum (after having lived in Europe for several years and seeing the central vacuum models from Miele, I was amazed). But, once back stateside and perusing the price, I quickly said "want it but don't need it, a hoover will do the job"....no it will NOT. This company promises and delivers on everything and more that this vacuum can do. AND, I called almost every competitor in the LA area and asked their opinion of Miele and almost all of them said "Hands down, if you can afford it, buy one and don't worry about having to replace it for the next 30-40 years". Yes, they are pricey, but with vacuums you get what you pay for. Just in the past five years I have run through three vacuums plus repairs that my housekeeper has induced because of trying to suck up everything but the kitchen sink. All total, I've probably spent close to a thousand or more. I'm a firm believer in buying something from a company that specializes in what you are looking for. Miele started out with vacuums a hundred years ago and continue to lead the industry in performance. The champagne model has the highest power possible from Miele right now. It is equipped with all on board attachements and has a built in HEPA filter that filters the air you are sucking up along with the pet hair and dust mites. After the first couple of times of use, I was amazed at the difference, not only in my carpets and furniture but also in the way my house smelled after coming home from work. And you don't need to change the filter all the time, once every year and a half. And this model is still engineered and constructed in Germany.....not China or Mexico or some other slave labor capital. I actually equate this vacuum as two appliances in my book: vacuum and air filter. If you vacuum your house once a week or more. you will be surprised at how much cleaner the air in your home will be. This is one investment that is worth the price tag and delivers all the way. Moreover, you can barely even hear the thing run. Its whisper quiet. The first couple of times you vacuum plan on replacing a bag or two, especially if you have pets, it will pick up hair the dog hasn't even shed yet on the sofa. But after that, its smooth sailing. After you vacuum you will be able to see the upholstery and carpets come back to life. And FYI, the bags are not an arm and a leg and you can get them just about at any vacuum supply store. A pack of five is about 12 bucks. If you couldn't tell already, I highly recommend this product. Happy Cleaning.
