Customer Reviews of Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 Keyboard and Mouse Combo
I like the concept, but it has its problems Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 Keyboard and Mouse Combo. I purchased this item for I think $99. All of the controls are great. 5 favorites to program, another 5 programmable buttons. <
>The down side is that the mouse does not always click. When selecting an item on the screen, I wait for a response but the computer has not seen the click yet. The keyboard has similar problems. When typing it does not see all of the characters typed. I thought it might be the proximity to the receiver, but I have simiar problems even 2 inches way as 3 feet. <
>I felt the battery may be low or dead but by changing the battery did not help. I could not find support on the micrsoft site. I would prefer the hardwired for accuracy. I counted 7 typoes in preparing this response alone. <

I WISH I HAD BOUGHT THIS FIRST!!!

>Some guys I work with bought the Logitech DiNovo Laser Media set, and they seemed to like it, so I coughed up the $150 and bought one too. (!See my review of the DiNovo to find what happened!)

>So, basically, what I'm trying to say, don't buy from Logitech.

>Instead, buy this! The gentle curve makes large-load typing a breeze, unlike the over exagerated curve of most "natural" keyboards. There's also a zoom toggle on the keyboard, and a zoom window that can be activated with the mouse; and the mouse has the both horizontal and vertical scrolling capabilities. Plus, it's all wireless. Not bluetoothe, which I'm thankful for, so there's no delay. Am I the only one who notices the all the problems with bluetoothe? Keys get stuck, long delays, mouse clicks on its own....poo, I say, poo. RF may not be the newest technology, but it works just fine for me.

>What else is so great about this set, you ask? The software, for one thing, is 100% compatible with windows, so every extra little feature on the keyboard and mouse works all the time, not just when it's in the mood. And it's got a really comfy wrist pad.

>So, in conclusion, buy this. Especially if you like being satisfied, and happy, and smart. Of course, if enjoy being stupid and ugly, by something from Logitech. They're sure to make you miserable.
