My husband likes it since it doesn't have any babyish prints and he doesn't feel like he's carrying a purse. (I think the "backpack" style helped in that regard!!) We purchased this when our 2nd baby was almost 3 years old and I was expecting the 3rd. It lasted for 2 and a half years of hard, everyday use, so when the interior lining finally began to pull out, I went on a quest for the same one! I really like the backpack option. Most of the time, I just sling one strap over my shoulder and go, but if I really need to use both hands, the backpack is easy and comfortable to wear. The small loop at the top center is handy for hanging on your stroller or on the purse hook on public restroom doors!

The main compartment is large enough to take everything you need for a day outing. We find it easier to put things in, in a vertical fashion instead of stacking them, that way you can see and get to everything without emptying the whole bag to get the "thing on the bottom." Plus, if you really need more room, you can "expand" the top by releasing the 2 snaps on the uppper sides. Even without expanding, we can easily fit a travel container of wipes, 5-6 small diapers, 2-3 toddler pull-ups, a change of clothes for the baby, the included padded changing pad, a few plastic bags for those yucky diapers, plus a couple of toys and a sunhat. One thing that we did remove was the included plastic pouch for dirty/wet things...it seemed to just get in the way. But, we did keep the pouch attachment (a 12" leash-type thing that is sewn into the top/inside of the bag and has a metal clip on the other end), I clip my car keys on it and never have to fumble to find them in the bottm of the bag.

I also love the 2 side "bottle" pockets. They are not only tall and wide enough for bottles, but sippy cups, cell phones, keys, small toys, jars of baby food, apples, bananas, spoons, bibs, etc. We use the zipper pocket on the front to keep the diaper supplies like rash cream, baby powder, plus bandaids, suncreen, etc.

In summary, we have found this bag to be very durable, easy to wipe up, it doesn't show dirt, very "user friendly" and a fantastic value for the price. It doesn't have a designer label, but if that's not important to you, the design is simple and classic and it will last you for quite a while.

A little small for most needs
This bag is a little bit small. I can only carry diaper wipes, 3 diapers, a change of clothes and 2 bottles/cups. Most things get lost in the bottom of the bag and I find myself taking everything out of the bag to find what I need.
We took it with us on the airplane and it was so stuffed that we couldn't close it.
It is easy to carry the back pack and my 12 month old; however I'm currently looking for another bag to carry.
P.S. My husband doesn't have a problem carrying this bag because it's black and doesn't look too much like a purse.

Awesome Bag!
This bag was great! It held up through two children and time between when it doubled as my everyday pocketbook. I stuffed it full of extra clothes for both children and anything else I needed for our outings. I kept my keys in the side pocket which made them very easy to get to when juggling the children, groceries, etc. Would definitely recommend this diaper bag to anyone.
