Customer Reviews of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
A Worthy Remake of a Great Classic Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is Nintendo's first foray into the MGS series. (Note: The first Metal Gear game was on the NES, though.) Those who have not experienced MGS before should play this game immediately - Metal Gear's brand of stealth action is unmatched in any other series of games. For those who are familiar with the original, the game offers little new content. Mostly, the cinematics have changed a bit, and the controls and enemy AI have been brought up to MGS2 standards. The graphics are also noticibly better, although they do look a bit muddy compared to the PS2 Metal Gear Solid 2, and it certainly doesn't take full advantage of the GameCube's power. Also, the controls feel a little oversensitive compared to the PS2 controls. <
>Also note that although the back of the case says that this game is a blend of Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2, it is only a remake of the former. It involves the controls and abilities of the second game, but it does not include it. <
>Metal Gear fans can't do without this game. Neither can those Nintendo fans who haven't experienced this yet. That's it.
bad REmake...
The REmake of the Original Metal Gear Solid on the PS1 wasn't supposed to be bad if it weren't for the bad Voice acting and redone music.

>the feel of thrill was gone when you first hear the music when Snake rides the Elevator to the Surface. Boos Fight music has gone...boring and excitement was gone. the PS1 version my have "Limited" capabilities, but the REAl action is in THERE!
disappointed
I found the packaging for this game deceitful. It appeared to me to be two Metal Gear Solid games, now available for Gamecube. But in fact it is just one. I'll leave the reviews to others, a terrific and memorable in it's own right.
