Customer Reviews of Mens Workout
um.....Gay men's workout? Yea I got this mag on a whim at the grocery store. I opened it up to later find a sea of bikini short clad men. The magazine is easily trying to appeal more to "looks" than to function. Its like every other page is a fitness model with typical glancing looks, creating a bunch of fluff and filler pics, as nicely taken and colorful as they are, but no substance. If you need some real info get a mens health, muscle and fitness or the like. If you dont like big rock stone guys then just don't workout as long/hard. Close ups of cute little boys male members is a waste of my time/money. Heterosexual men beware of this magazine, its just plain ol fruity.
Workout routines for the rest of us
I found MW to have realistic workout routines.

Lots of pretty guys, but....
Yeah, the guys are hot in this magazine (and all the other workout mags...). But these mags are a ripoff if you really want to get in shape. I am fairly positive that the guys pictured there didn't get that way by subscribing to these publications. If you just want to look at homoerotic pictures, and can afford it, have fun. But if you want to look good, ditch the mags and get to work.

>A book I am finding very helpful now is called "The Testosterone Advantage" and is actually a "Men's Health" publication, but it is not packed with all kinds of verging-on-porn pics of Adonises. It is a no-nonsense guide to diet and exercise for guys. It is readily available on Amazon.

>The authors dispell many of the myths about diet and exercise, like carbs, and the "Food Guide Pyramid," etc.; they show how a man can manipulate his metabolism to NATURALLY produce more testosterone, that magical substance that can help many of us to look like the guy on the cover of "Burn" or "Buff" or "Almost Gay Workout," or what have you.

>The authors dare to utter such phrases as "Men have different nutritional needs than women" (blasphemy!). But they back it up with solid research. It includes a 9-week diet and exercise program for any guy, whether he wants to lose fat, gain muscle, or a combination of both. 5 stars for this one.
