There are 20 levels of gameplay spread across six major missions, all based on real World War II events and all adding up to one complete and uninterrupted story line. Fully realized and highly-detailed 3-D environments include six times the number of nonplayer character animations as in the original Medal of Honor. The game includes detailed German, British, and American troops, as well as Dutch civilians, all with full facial expressions and lip synch. More than 20 authentic WWII weapons include the Colt .45, Springfield sniper rifle, Panzerschreck rocket launcher, MG42 mounted machine gun, and the Browning automatic rifle. Enemy vehicles include panzer and tiger tanks, trucks, motorcycles with sidecars, and armored railway scout cars. There are also player-driven motorized railcars, trains, and mine carts.
An improved enemy AI requires you to consistently vary your attack strategy as the situation dictates. Go it alone to accomplish your mission with the utmost stealth or work as part of a highly trained military unit to wreak havoc on the enemy. The game offers intense noncombat scenarios as well, such as a disguised, weaponless infiltration of an officer's pub brimming with Gestapo to make contact with a Dutch Resistance operative. Medal of Honor: Frontline includes more than 70 minutes of original orchestral music from composer Michael Giacchino, and the game as a whole features eight times more audio than the original Medal of Honor.

Customer Reviews of Medal of Honor Frontline
Best 1st Person Shooter of 2002 This game is one of the best first-person shooters of 2002 because you have a very wide variety of levels and weapons to choose from. The missions are fairly difficult with 19 missions all together. It's pretty cool that you can choose from original MOH controls or new MOH controls when going into options.
I rank this five-star because the graphics are very realistic. You can actually see the Germans lying down or talking to each other. At one point a German is helping his dead parter by covering fire for him. If you like realistic first-person shooter games this would be the game for you. It's not exactly like James Bond 007 games because it dousn't have an auto-aim. There is a few different codes you can get but they really don't help much.
There are over 20 different weapons to choose from.My favorites are the Springfield Sniper and the Bazooka. All the weapons help at different points in the game. There usually 4-5 missions per level to complete it with six levels. You keep the same amount of ammo throughout the level unless you find ammo on the ground. There are also three difficulty level. The easiest is the enemy is new recruits and full health is recovered, 2nd is they are as good as you and only recover a little health each mission,3rd is they are better than you and you recover no health each mission. But, luckily you can find all sorts of health units to boost your health.
I thought this was very fun game that keeps you at a mission until you beat it. If you buy it I think you would like it.
Excellent FPS
Medal of Honor Frontline lands you in the role of Lt. James Patterson. Your missions will take you from the beaches of Normandy to hijacking a Ho-IX jet plane. You will have eighteen different weapons to help you along the way. The level designs are very good and each level has a different feel to it. The atmosphere and wide variety of missions is what really pulled me into this game.
The graphics most of the time look spectacular. Unfortunately a few times it did get choppy. The controls are completely customizable. There are several default choices or you can program each button individually. The sound effects and score are excellent and in Dolby Digital. To bad its not 5.1 though.
From the opening level I was hooked on this game. I could not stop playing. I found only two problems with this game. The first is that you cannot adjust the sensitivity of the analog controls. This isn't a major thing but it did take awhile to get used to. The second is that there are no multiplayer options. The game is not really that long and you should be able to go through it in a couple days easily. But the challenge is to get all the medals and that should keep you busy for a while. I think this is one of the top ten games available on PS2. All fans of first person shooters should pick this one up.
