Customer Reviews of Manowar: Fire and Blood - Hell on Earth Part II/Blood in Brazil
Hail & Kill Finally - the second live video gives me what I wanted - a complete live performance from the Kings of Metal. The road footage is fun for a viewing a few times but let's face it - we're here for the MUSIC. The Blood in Brazil disc is excellent. Now lets hope that they end up putting some of the US tour footage on a future dvd - especially one of the 3 or 4 hour marathons that we got in Chicago - now would be a DVD worth killing for. The sound on this set is awesome - give us more. Hail & Kill
Other bands play, Manowar kills
The most complete DVD for all heavy metal fans. Manowar pack this double DVD set with a ton of their popular and rare metal anthems. The best part is there mixed in DD 5.1 sound. On top of that, you get plenty of insight to what the band is about, what they think of their fans, and just how crazy their fans really are. I couldn't believe how popular these guys were.
WAY better than Hell On Earth.
Keep in mind when reading this, I hated Hell On Earth. I thought it was a stupid waste of my time. There was not enough footage of the band playing. The jacket listed songs that were just played in the background when showing other clips of unrelated stuff. I didn't like it at all.
I held out for a long LONG time from buying this because I was afraid it would be just like the first. I have only watched the first of the two DVD's, the HELL ON STAGE concert. And I have to tell you, even if I never watch the second DVD, the first one was well worth the price. Lots and Lots and Lots of concert footage. Other then in one part, the sound is great also. There are some comments from band members in between scenes, but that is kept to a minimum for the most part and their comments seem relevent to what you are about to see, not just blather about the same old stuff. ("f the world and f this and f that...)
If you are a MANOWAR fan I would definitely reccomend picking this one up. It's WAY better than Hell On Earth.
