Customer Reviews of Magic Crochet
Serious stuff for serious crocheters or serious dreamers Thread crochet has been making a bit of a comeback lately. For anyone who is serious about moving from big hooks to finer ones this is THE magazine for you. <
> <
>Each issue provides a variety of designs with easy to follow charts. The skill level required varies by pattern but the charts are clear enough so that you can easily follow the most complex patterns. <
> <
>The magazine is best known for the beautiful doily designs that entice those of us who simply dream of making heirlooms and satisfy those of us who actually complete them. <
> <
>I've personally made many of the designs in past issues, but do not have a single one in my house. Even people who wouldn't usually use doilies have noticed the beauty of the designs of the completed projects; unfortunately I can't resist giving the finished pieces away to their admirers. <
> <
>This is not an easy magazine to find on newstands or in bookstores. Serious crafters quickly pick up the few copies each retailer gets, a subscription is the best way to be sure you get a chance to even see each issue. <
> <
>Magic Crochet is not just about doilies. There are craft projects, clothing for adults and children and doll items in most issues. <
> <
>A last word: This is not a magazine to lend! If you're a serious crafter you'll want to hold on to each and every issue, the magazine is as much of an heirloom as the articles that you can make from it!
Magic Crochet
Excellent magazine for beginners as well as experts. Beginners will find detailed instructions at the back of the book.

never heard from subscription services
I received Magic Crochet years ago and all of a sudden my copies quit coming. I sent a copy of my address label with the expiration date of the subscription and never received a response after several attempts. I have just subscribed again and hope that I do not have the same problems. It's amazing how you try to solve a problem years ago and remember the attempts to reach customer service; but the magazine is one to have.
