100% Rip-Off
This is the first review I have written, though I have purchased through AMAZON perhaps 100 or more DVDs through their site in the past year. I am reviewing only to warn potential buyers. This product is a noxious weed in the otherwise very fruitful garden that is AMAZON, and I am simply doing my part to yank it out! <

>As far as the product is concerned, the first tip-off to its overwhelming deceit is its liberal use of the word "MAFIA". Virtually everyone hearing that term will immediately think of Capone, Lansky, Gambino, Bugsy Siegel, etc. In this instance, they will be very wrong. This DVD purports to describe a "MAFIA" that consists of all those nameless bad guy drug dealers and terrorists that inhabit all the mostly forgotten corners of the third world. (I couldn't stomach watching the DVDs enough to get many details. Suffice it to say that no traditional "La Cosa Nostra" mafia member is even mentioned.) <

>This lie is even more blatant - considering that a picture is worth a thousand words (lies) - in the cover art that shows photos of recognizable and famous "real" mafia warlords. No trace of any of these men can be found on the DVDs. <

>Finally, even in lying about what subject they are presenting, how they present it is in itself very likely an utter falsehood. Most of what I viewed showed a silhouetted, apparently very bad struggling actor, pretending to be some nameless insider that is revealing his "deadly secrets" of the underworld. They excuse this childish prank by saying that his info is so explosive that his life would be in danger if his identity were revealed! What total B.S.! His life would most likely be in danger because if revealed to be the brother-in-law of the producer of this tripe his wife would give him hell. <
