Customer Reviews of Mac 3 Wheeler Stroller in Chilli
This was a terrible stroller This stroller really was poor. We were surprised, because we really liked our MacLaren umbrella stroller and were expecting great things from this one. We got the stroller, and the handle promptly fell off, again and again. You can't turn a corner with it, which is fine if you only want to walk/jog in a straight line. I thought this was VERY unsafe. I guess there were some good things about it, but the handle coming off made it unusable. I emailed the company, but no response; probably because I mentioned the word RECALL in the subject line. I would NOT buy this stroller. They should stick to the umbrella style.
Great, except falls apart!
This stroller is great in terms of the comfort of the ride for our daughter - we walk a lot in our neighborhood and have to traverse bad sidewalks and curbs. We don't use it for jogging. It folds nicely, and the weather protection is great in winter. We love the stroller, except that it is so poorly built that we have had to replace the back tires twice now, and our daughter is only a year old! In addition to the tires (which took me time and frustration to replace), the screws on the handle have come out twice. The customer service agent I spoke to the first time sent us free parts, but they took 8 weeks to arrive. I would go with a similar stroller that doesn't fall apart.
Over rated - Poorly constructed
This is good for Tall parents who are handy. I've found no taller stroller and pushing my prior stroller was hurting my back. But I have to check the screws and nuts on this stroller every week. Customer service was weak. It shakes itself apart every other week. I do walk long distances with it, but still.

>It does turn heads and, like I said. It is the only way to go for tall folks, as far as i can find. But be prepared to tighen things up every week or risk having the handle fall off or the bending joint fail (both happened to me.) Also get a spoke wrench (#2) mine left the factory with more loose spokes than not.

>Their lack of repair facilities near me was another downer. take a look at the models offered at bike shops and see if they do repairs in house while you wait.

>A little update: I've run into two other Mac3 owners and both have had significant problems with durability. One lost the front wheel a couple of times (could be operator error but should it really be built to require such care?) and the other is on his second set of axels (they bent) and in line for a new frame. I find this rather excessive. I have not run into a person who has been using it more than a month or two who is not sad they bought it.
