Customer Reviews of Lowepro Rezo 30 (Black)
A bit too tight for the Canon G7 The Lowepro website sizing/compatibility wizard said this bag was a good fit for the Canon G7 (see the 19 FEB 2005 review someone posted here), but I found out personally that the bag is just a tiny bit too small for this camera. You probably will not be able to get the camera in the bag if you keep the strap on the camera. I took the strap off, and it fits, albeit skin tight. Other than that, it's a nice bag, and will fit an extra battery and an extra card or two in the side pocket.
Tight Pack
I bought this item for my Canon PowerShot A460. It fits, yes, but is a bit too tight. Wish it were at least 2cm bigger all around. The straps are cool.
The belt loop with velcro and snap, as well as the way it allows you to open the case without dumping the camera are key.
I actually bought some other model of LowePro case (for my Casio Exilim EX-Z120) then realized the belt loop was different and immediate exchanged it for this one. Seriously, the belt loop on this alone is worth the difference in price (which is negligible, especially when you consider what it's protecting).

>Most loops on the back of camera and cell phone cases are sewn closed so you have to take your belt (or strap, such as on a backpack) off just to attach the case--what a pain in the butt--or it's a clip (which may just fall off). This one is velcro, and just to make sure that the velcro doesn't work it's way loose and send your expensive camera to the lost and found (or just plain 'lost' or 'Finder's Keepers') it includes a snap on retaining bit to prevent that. This works quite well even while on the shoulder strap of a mountain biker's backpack (me in this case).

>But that's not the only brilliant bit. When hanging the case from your neck, it's naturally that you would want to have the case open so you have ready access to your camera, but not so that it would fall out. So LowePro put nylon on both sides of the inside of the case to keep the camera from falling out even while the zippers are fully open. You can give it a good side to side shake--as would happen during a vigorous walk, and the camera will not fall out (most likely).

>The clips for the neck strap are easy to attach and release from the case, and there's a nifty pocket with an inner mesh pocket for everything from spare batteries and memory to cards and money. I stuffed two media cables and a spare set of AA batteries in there and they fit just fine.

>CON (only one minor one): You will want to rip or cut out the tags sewn into the inside of the case if you want it to be truly free of anything which might scratch a lens or casing--but this is no big deal.

>BOTTOM LINE: Overall, they designed this case with the kinds of features and construction you would find on a larger pack made to carry much heavier loads and more volume, yet didn't overdesign it for its intended purpose. Obviously they field tested this thing and redesigned it as best they could to keep the camera in the case even when on the most active or careless of users, and yet maintained an attractive and functional design.

>This is my third LowePro product--they also make backpacks and such but they're typically only available in Europe--and yet another reliable, tough, and attractive addition to my outdoor equipment. Appropriate for the business traveler, vacationer, outdoor fanatic, or even the fashion conscious.
